Welcome to the Hands-on Learning for Novel Solutions to Radio Spectrum Problems website.

This website is supported by ONR Grant #11884065.

Students will learn to configure, develop, deploy, and execute cognitive radio software to enable communication in complex and contested signal environments, preparing them to apply similar approaches to this and other problems faced by the U.S. Navy as well as by other U.S. military and civilian government agencies and industry.

The project will employ wireless communication testbeds, a cognitive radio test and evaluation framework, and 3-D visualization software.
